When the weather reaches 80% around Seattle, here are some places that you can take your family to stay cool for free:

Lake Union Park. One of the newer parks in the city with Museum of History and Industry and Center for Wooden Boats.
Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill with slides and a zip line with nearby skate park.
Town Square Park in downtown Burien with nearby library, picnic areas and trails.
Ballard Commons Park with shops and restaurants nearby with a skate bowl and the Ballard library.
Crossroads Park with spitting frogs and spouting orcas with performances and farmers market on Tuesday.
The Fountain at Seattle Center with free splash zones.
