Shown above is a 2022 holiday schedule for County Recorders' Office showing days to be considered when writing Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA) or when Re-financing in counting 3-day right of recession.
Please consider these holidays when writing PSA and please download and keep this calendar handy, and pay special attention to the dates. King, Pierce and Snohomish County Recorders’ Offices will be closed on those days noted in red, and no transactions can be recorded.
Per TRID - a document called Closing Disclosure (CD) must be sent out to a homebuyer 3 days prior to closing. Please review and download this calendar showing the earliest we can close based on CD delivery date. A CD sends via email is the same as hand delivers CD.
In refinancing - we are required to allow 3 day rescission period after the final signing date prior to closing. This is to allow homeowners to cancel their refinancing should they have a second thought about it. Based on the signing date and incorporating 3 day rescission period - please review and download this calendar on how early their refinancing can close.
Also, please note the last refinance signing days in gray and the property tax due dates in black. Be sure to check this calendar before finalizing the closing date for your clients.
